2025 Austin Marathon: Honoring Our Food & Beverage Service Professionals

This year, the Austin Marathon is proud to launch the Service Industry Appreciation Year, focusing on an industry that is very important to our city’s culture – the food and beverage service community. It’s a tribute to the hardworking individuals who shape Austin’s renowned culinary scene.

Discount is 50% off the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K. Discounts cannot be combined with any other discounts, offers, coupons, special promotions, or commercial rates. Taxes, fees, merchandise, and surcharges are extra.

To qualify for the service industry employee discount you must:

• Be currently employed at a restaurant, cafe, or bar within the Travis County Area. Open to all who work in Austin’s food and beverage industry. From baristas to bartenders, chefs to servers, this is your chance to step out from behind the counter and onto the race course. 
• Fill out the form below. We will process applications starting March 1st and notify those who qualify on a rolling basis until all spots are filled.
• If you are accepted, you will receive an email with a discount code to register. You can then register online at YourAustinMarathon.com and enter the promotion code at checkout.

Verification Process: To ensure this opportunity reaches its intended audience, participants will need to provide proof of employment in the service industry. A current pay stub showing the business within Travis Country will be required when filling out the form and at packet pick up in 2025.
