Whether you’re snapping memories for yourself or capturing the energy of race day professionally, we want to make the process simple and clear. Below is everything you need to know about photography permissions, expectations, and how to apply for special access.
📰 Media Outlet Credentials / Media Pass Request
For news outlets, magazines, blogs, podcasts, broadcast teams, or any entity producing professional coverage.
Media Pass may include:
- Access to designated media zones
- Interviews with athletes or event staff
- Press briefings or special event access
- Limited course-side or finish-line access (as safety allows)
Personal Photography & Video
No Permission Required
You are welcome to take personal photos and videos anywhere along the course and at the finish line festival.
You may:
- Capture your experience, friends, and family
- Take photos/videos for personal use
- Share content on social media
Please follow these rules:
- Do not obstruct runners, volunteers, or race operations
- Stay out of restricted or fenced areas
- No drones without written approval
- Do not interfere with official event photographers
- Respect participants who prefer not to be photographed
Commercial Photography & Videography Permission
If you plan to sell, license, or commercially distribute photos or videos from the event, you must apply for commercial permissions.
What the application includes:
- Approval to capture and sell images
- Usage and liability terms
- Required safety and course-access rules
- Optional: Submit photos for our review or purchase
