Jesus Olivares
I was born in Mexico and raised in South Texas, then I came to Austin where I studied finance at The University of Texas. After graduation, I started a business that I actively manage. Starting a family, working long hours, and struggling with staying in shape, something called me to go for a run at Lady Bird Lake Trail. 11 years later, I run almost every day and at 37 I feel in better shape than in my teenage years. Running has become a passion and I am thankful for the friendships I’ve made, the health benefits it brings, and the discipline running forces on me. When I am not at the office or running, you can find me either hiking or biking with my wife and 3 kids on some Austin trail.
Cameron Brown
Cameron Brown was always the kid that enjoyed running even more than other sports. He began running competitively in high school and college ultimately competing in the Division I NCAA Cross Country Championships for Tulane University. He began running with Team Rogue in 2015. He has completed 9 marathons including a 2:43 PR winning the BCS Marathon in 2022. Cameron is also a volunteer runner with the Back On My Feet program that combats homelessness through the power of running. This is his third year pacing Austin Marathon.
Jae Kwon
Jae’s third outing as an Austin Marathon pacer will put him at over 10 completed marathons. Having gotten into running during his military career in his 20s, he is now in service design and will be pacing the 3:20 group in 2022.
Nora Colligan
Nora Colligan has been running competitively for over 23 years. This will be her 5th year as a marathon pace group leader for the Austin Marathon. Starting as a cross country and track runner in high school and college, she quickly moved up to the marathon distance after graduating. Since then Nora has run 20 marathons, with a PR of 2:44 at the 2015 California International Marathon. That performance earned her an entry into the 2016 US Olympic Trials.

Since moving to Austin in 2001, Davison has run the Austin Marathon many times and this will be his fifth year being a pacer.
Matt Fletcher
Matt Fletcher began running in 2011 to drop weight, but quickly the addiction took hold. Scenery and lack of cars are the greatest appeal to him when running trails, but Matt maintains a healthy appetite for Austin’s asphalt. Now training with TrailRoots, Matt has finished a couple 100Ks, had his first marathon win at a Lake Georgetown trail race, and has two 2:59 marathons, most recently in Boston. Pacing Austin will be marathon number 41 and lets him give something back to this encouraging running community, and recover in time for the Spring trail season!
