Registration for the 2024 Ascension Seton Austin Marathon Officially Opens May 9

Launch Week Offers Many Incentives to Registrants

AUSTIN, Texas, May 8, 2023 — Registration for the 2024 Ascension Seton Austin Marathon, Half Marathon & 5k® officially opens Tuesday, May 9th.  To mark the opening, there will be a week-long celebration that includes giveaways, promotions, group runs, and social gatherings. In addition, for each registration during Launch Week, Austin Marathon will donate an entry to a runner in need as part of the RUN FOWARD initiative.  Race organizers will work with Austin Marathon Gives charities to nominate and accept applications for the free entries.  The 32nd Annual Austin Marathon is scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 18, 2024, in Austin, Texas.  

“Launch Week is the start of the Running Social Event of the Year which is the Austin Marathon.  These group runs and events that happen during Launch Week help build up the excitement that happens on race weekend in February.  It’s a great opportunity to start meeting and socializing with fellow runners who will help pull you through the finish line,” explains Stacy Keese, co-owner of High Five Events, the producers of the Austin Marathon.

The initial pricing structure is offered during Launch Week of May 9-16 and is as follows: Austin Marathon $139, Austin Half Marathon $119, Austin Marathon 5K presented by Paramount Theatre $59.  Registration is available here.  Those who register during Launch Week will also have the option of adding the 3M Half Marathon and receiving $10 off as part of the combo deal.  Prices increase after the conclusion of Launch Week. This year the Austin Marathon is honoring City of Austin and State of Texas Employees with steeply discounted rates; those eligible can apply for the discount here.
