Follow these recipes to boost your hydration and chill after your run

The summer heat is still intense. Many of us find ourselves feeling extra worn out after a run. One area that is crucial to the recovery process is your post-run hydration. Proper hydration helps your body recover. Don’t just replace the fluids lost during exercise, boost your hydration and replenish the electrolytes you lose. Sometimes water isn’t enough to support our bodies after a hot summer run. That’s where our partners at Nuun Hydration come into play. Make these chilly recipes before you take off for your next run. That way when you return you can replace electrolytes, boost your hydration, and chill!

Boost your hydration and replace electrolytes post run with this Nuun popsicle recipe. Ingredients/supplies - popsicle molds, favorite Nuun tablets, water, fresh fruit slices, freezer. Instructions - 1. Dissolve 3 Nuun tablets for every 16 ounces of water. 2. Add dissolved Nuun and fruit slices to popsicle molds. 3. Place popsicle molds in freezer. 4. Let sit for 4-6 hours.

Boost your hydration and replace electrolytes post run with this Nuun smooth recipe. Ingredients/supplies - 1 large orange, 2 handfuls of strawberries, 1 banana, one third cup chopped carrots, yogurt (optional), one Nuun tablet. Directions - 1. Dissolve Nuun tablet in 4 ounces of water. 2. Add orange, strawberries, banana, carrots, Nuun, and yogurt (optional) to blender. 3. Blend until smooth. 4. Serve in chilled glass and enjoy!
Boost your hydration and replace electrolytes post run with this Nuun Double Strawberry popsicle recipe.
