Jesus Olivares

  • N/A

I was born in Mexico and raised in South Texas, then I came to Austin where I studied finance at The University of Texas. After graduation, I started a business that I actively manage. Starting a family, working long hours, and struggling with staying in shape, something called me to go for a run at Lady Bird Lake Trail. 11 years later, I run almost every day and at 37 I feel in better shape than in my teenage years. Running has become a passion and I am thankful for the friendships I’ve made, the health benefits it brings, and the discipline running forces on me. When I am not at the office or running, you can find me either hiking or biking with my wife and 3 kids on some Austin trail.
