Austin Marathon Announces Official Charity Partners for 2027 Austin Marathon Gives Program
Selected nonprofit organizations will use the Austin Marathon platform to raise funds, build awareness, and make an impact throughout the Austin community
The Ascension Seton Austin Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K is proud to announce the official charity partners selected for the 2027 Austin Marathon Gives (AMG) program, presented by the Moody Foundation, the Official Charity Program of the Austin Marathon.
Austin Marathon Gives connects nonprofit organizations with thousands of participants, volunteers, spectators, and community members surrounding one of Austin’s largest annual sporting events. Through the program, participating organizations have the opportunity to raise critical funds, share their missions, recruit supporters, and engage directly with the Austin running community leading up to the event on Sunday, February 14, 2027.
For 2027, twenty six nonprofit organizations have been selected to participate in the program, representing causes that make an impact in Austin and beyond.

Participants can support an Austin Marathon Gives organization while registering for the 2027 Ascension Seton Austin Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K. After selecting a charity, participants can connect with the organization and create a personalized fundraising page, giving friends, family, and supporters an opportunity to contribute to their miles and the mission behind them.
The program also gives supporters the opportunity to get involved beyond the start line. Community members can volunteer at designated Austin Marathon Gives positions along the course, allowing friends, family members, and supporters to experience the event while giving back to participating organizations.
“Austin Marathon Gives is about using the energy and reach of the Austin Marathon to support organizations doing meaningful work in our community,” said Jack Murray, Co-owner of the Austin Marathon. “Every participant who chooses to fundraise and every volunteer who gives their time helps extend the impact of this event well beyond the finish line. We’re excited to welcome this year’s charity partners and help bring greater awareness and support to their missions.”
Since its inception, Austin Marathon Gives has helped raise more than $6 million for nonprofit organizations. For 2027, the program aims to raise$500,000 for its participating charity partners. Support from the Moody Foundation will once again provide additional opportunities for participating nonprofits to increase their fundraising impact.

Registration is open for the 2027 Ascension Seton Austin Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K, taking place Sunday, February 14, 2027 in Austin, Texas.
